39th International Alexela Saaremaa Rally 2006

The Rally takes place on 13 – 14 October 2006

STATUS
The Rally an international calendar rally of 2006
* The last 7th round of Estonian Rally Championship for groups A , N and E

PRIZES
Overall places 1 – 6 and the best three crews in each class will be awarded cups

ROUTE
The total length of the route is 440 km, consisting of 11 special stages of total 107 km, including one SS on asphalt (3,5 km) and two repeated stages on Oriküla double track ( 2 x 2 km)
There will be 3 repeated stages.
Reconnaissance 60 km on gravel roads and 3,5 km on asphalt.

PROGRAMME
28 August 2006 – pre-registration starts
06 October 2006 – entries closed
11 – 12 October 2006 - reconnaissance
13 October 2006 – scrutineering and marking of turbos
13 October 2006 at 17.30 – start of the Rally in the center of Kuressaare
3 SS, incl. 1 on asphalt
14 October 2006 – 8 SS, incl. super SS on the double track
14 October 2006 at 18.30 – finish of the first rally car

ENTRY FEES
The entry fees for the participants are as follows:
* Groups N3, A6, E9 and E10  5000 EEK / crew
* Groups N1, N2, A4, A5, E7 and E8 4000 EEK / crew
* Groups E11 and E12 (trucks) 2000 EEK / crew
* per crew (see 13.2) 2000 EEK

TO THE PUBLIC
The special stages are organized on the gravel roads of Central and Western Saaremaa, in the streets of Kuressaare, and the super SS on Oriküla double track. We charge for admission to some of the special stages. The tickets are available at the special stages. This year the Rally Booklet for the public will be published as an extra page of the “Autoleht”, which be on sale before the Rally. The Booklet includes the list of the participants, maps of the special stages, traffic patterns, timetables, and other interesting information.
